MARCHING PERCUSSION

Marching percussion requires an advanced set of rudimental drumming skills and techniques. Students new to this style of drumming will start with Vic Firth’s Marching Percussion 101 series, school specific drumline exercises and Rowl-Offs Rudimental Cookbook. Intermediate and advanced lessons will explore more challenging literature, rudiments, and hybrids. 

Lessons are given on modern high-tension snare drums or multi-tenors and their respective practice pads using traditional and matched grip.
