HOMESCHOOL PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE
Homeschool Percussion Ensemble is a weekly program that will give the young percussionist a chance to learn, and play a wide variety of instruments in a fun, supportive, group environment. Experience is not necessary. This is a great opportunity to learn basics, or to build on existing skills. Student should bring drumsticks. All instruments will be provided.
Students will participate and learn the following:
- Drumming & Mallet Technique
Wide Variety of Drum and Percussion Instruments
Hand Drum Circle
Ensemble Rehearsals
Ensemble Performance at the end of the Session
World Drumming & Percussion Workshops
The program meets 7 times on Mondays from 10:30am-12:00pm.
- Session 1 - January & February
Session 2 - March & April
Session 3 - May & June
Class size will be limited to 5-8 Percussionists, ages 8 to 16. Each session offers a new performance opportunity, and a chance for musical growth. Students are encouraged to attend all sessions if scheduling permits.
The participation fee for this program is $200 per session. Invoices will be sent once the minimum number of participants has been reached. Please sign up below. In the event a session doesn't reach the minimum number of participants, other dates may be offered.
